Grazalema sits at the heart of the pueblos blancos and the obvious day trips run between them: Zahara de la Sierra over the Puerto de las Palomas, with its Moorish castle and the brilliant turquoise reservoir below; Setenil de las Bodegas, where houses are built into the overhanging rock; Olvera, with its hilltop castle and white-washed church; and Ronda, the largest of them all, an hour east.
