Casa Antonio is the most ambitious kitchen in Jaén — contemporary Andalusian cooking that respects local ingredients but plates them with serious craft. Pedro Sánchez has held a Michelin star here for years (and has opened the standalone two-star Bagá next door for those who want to spend more).
The dining room is small and minimal — white walls, dark wood, ceramic plates from the local studios. Expect olive-themed amuses, expertly cooked local meat and fish, and a wine list strong on Andalusian whites and the new wave of southern Spanish reds. Tasting menus around €60-80. Book well in advance.
