Jaén's bar scene is concentrated around the cathedral and along Calle Cerón and Calle Bernabé Soriano — the streets locals call the Zona de los Tapas. The standard pattern is to walk in, order a small beer or vermouth, and let the free tapa appear. Bar-hop a couple of streets and dinner happens by accident.
There is no real nightclub culture; younger locals head out to bars and tasca that stay open late on Calle Bernabé Soriano and Carrera de Jesús.
