The cave bars and restaurants along the two main rock-sheltered streets are the social heart of Setenil. Most serve traditional Andalucian tapas — jamón ibérico, local cheeses, fried fish — and the setting, eating under a solid rock canopy with the river below, is memorable. Prices are reasonable by Spanish standards and portions are generous.
