Setenil is small enough to cover on foot, but the two-level layout matters. The cave streets sit below; the church, tower, and older fortified quarter sit above.
Wear comfortable shoes and take the climbs slowly in summer. The lower lanes can be crowded at midday, so early morning or late afternoon is much more pleasant.
