The Iglesia de Santiago sits on a small plaza just below the cathedral and is the second of Albarracín's medieval churches. The current building is mostly 16th-century Gothic, with a tall belfry that is the second landmark of the upper-town skyline after the cathedral.
Inside, the single nave has a fine carved retablo and several side chapels with painted vault decoration. It is often locked outside service hours; if open, the entry is free and worth a brief visit for the woodwork.
