The municipal museum is housed in the former hospital of San Antonio Abad, on the small Plaza de Santa María. It is a compact one-floor display of finds from the prehistoric, Iberian, Roman, and Moorish layers of Albarracín's history, with a particularly good section on the ceramic industry that flourished here in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Worth half an hour, especially after the cathedral tour — a clear sense of just how long this rocky promontory has been inhabited. Tickets are cheap and combined entry with the cathedral is possible.
