Casa Blasquico is both a small guesthouse and a restaurant, which means the kitchen has an incentive to do things properly — the guests who stay here have no other obvious dinner option, but the food stands on its own merits regardless. The cooking is Pyrenean: mountain lamb, wild mushrooms in season, and the kind of bean stews that taste better at altitude.
Book for dinner in summer, when the village fills with walkers; in shoulder season the place is often available without a reservation but it is worth calling ahead to be sure.
