Restaurante Gaby

One of the established restaurants in Hecho, Gaby serves traditional Aragonese mountain food — roast lamb, stewed boar, trout from the valley rivers, and the local bean and meat dishes that sustain walkers after long days in the mountains. The menu del día at lunch is good value and usually includes a first course, main, dessert, and wine.

The setting is simple, the portions generous, and the clientele a mix of Spanish hikers, visiting families, and the occasional foreign traveller who has stumbled onto the valley by accident. Open for lunch daily in summer; hours are reduced in winter.
