Eating Out

Eating out in S'Arenal is casual and unpretentious. The seafront and the streets just back from the beach are lined with restaurants serving a mix of Spanish standards, German-inflected menus (schnitzel and pork knuckle are ubiquitous), and generic tourist fare. Look for the daily specials on the chalkboards outside, particularly the menú del día at lunchtime, which typically gets you three courses with bread and a drink for around €10–12.

For a taste of the local Mallorcan kitchen, head inland to the Llucmajor-side streets where a handful of quieter local restaurants cater to residents rather than package tourists.
