S'Arenal is not a place for culture tourism — it is a beach resort, and the beach is the thing. The Platja de Palma stretching west toward Ca'n Pastilla is one of the finest urban beaches on the island: wide, sandy, backed by a flat promenade, and clean despite the volume of visitors.
Beyond the beach, the town has a sailing club, a water park, and easy access by bus to Palma and the airport. For anything involving history, art, or architecture, take the bus to Palma.
