Shopping in S'Arenal is focused on resort basics: beachwear, sunscreen, towels, and the kind of souvenir items found in every Mediterranean resort. The streets behind the promenade have a reasonable density of small shops and supermarkets.
The Thursday market is the most characterful option for browsing. For serious shopping — clothing, shoes, local food products, wine — the bus to Palma takes 25 minutes and the city's shopping streets around Passeig del Born are considerably better supplied.
