S'Arenal is approximately 12 km from Palma de Mallorca Airport — one of the closest resort towns to the airport on the island. A taxi to the airport takes around 15 minutes and costs roughly €20–25; there is no direct bus.
From Palma city centre, the number 25 bus runs along the Platja de Palma through Ca'n Pastilla to S'Arenal every 10 minutes in summer, with a journey time of about 25 minutes and a fare of around €1. The same service runs the reverse direction, making it easy to visit Palma for a day trip. There is no train connection.
By car from Palma, the most direct route is via the Ma-19 coastal road, which passes the airport and runs along the seafront. Parking in the resort in high season requires patience — the streets directly behind the beach fill up quickly.
