Hidropark

Water park with pools, slides, and a go-kart circuit on the edge of town

Hidropark is a water park on the road between Puerto de Alcudia and the old town — easy to reach on foot or by bike if you are staying nearby. By the standards of the big resort water parks in Mallorca it is modest in scale, but it has enough slides and splash areas to satisfy a full afternoon, and the go-kart circuit makes it useful for older children who might otherwise find a water park limiting.

The park has a lazy river, a wave pool, and a reasonable range of slides from gentle to steep. It is busy in July and August, particularly in the afternoons, and queues build for the faster rides. Going early in the day or on a weekday makes a noticeable difference. The shaded areas fill up quickly on hot days; get there when the park opens if you want a spot under a tree.

Tickets can be bought on the day at the entrance. Prices are broadly in line with other Mallorcan water parks, and there are family ticket deals. The park closes in winter and operates reduced hours in the shoulder season — confirm before going in May or October.
