A long-standing local favourite occupying a traditional stone building just inside the old town walls. The menu leans toward grilled meats — cordero asado (roast lamb) is the standout — and the kitchen turns out excellent menú del día at lunchtime that represents some of the best value eating in the area. The house wine is a local Rioja Alavesa that changes seasonally. Popular with locals from the surrounding villages as well as visitors, which is always a good sign. Calle Santa Engracia, Laguardia.
