A small craft-beer bar tucked into a side street near the cathedral, pouring local Extremaduran brews alongside guest taps from across Spain. The owners are knowledgeable, the bar food is a step above the freebies of the average taberna — proper boards of jamón Ibérico de bellota, Torta del Casar with a baguette — and the music is kept low enough to talk over.
A useful counterpoint to the macro-beer-and-tapas circuit, especially for a slower second drink after dinner.
