Platja del Raco de l'Albir is the practical beach for the Altea-Albir stretch: pebbly, clean-lined, and backed by a promenade rather than high-rise chaos. The view toward the Serra Gelada cliffs gives it a stronger setting than many Costa Blanca town beaches.
Bring water shoes if you dislike stones, and do not expect soft sand. The beach is good for a swim, a promenade walk, and an easy evening on the waterfront. It also makes a natural start or finish for the walk up toward the lighthouse in Serra Gelada.
