The biggest single ski area in the Sälen cluster — and one of the biggest in Sweden — with around 35 pistes ranging from broad beginner slopes to the steep Lindvallsbacken. The whole resort is built around a long flat valley with lifts running up both sides, so most slopes are south-facing and the snow holds late in the season.
Lindvallen is connected by ski lifts and shuttle buses to neighbouring Högfjället, and a single SkiStar pass covers both. The base village has a supermarket, restaurants and the famous ski-through McDonald's.
