Zügenschlucht is the steep Landwasser gorge between Davos Wiesen and Davos Monstein, where rock walls, forest, road, and Rhaetian Railway engineering all squeeze into the same narrow passage. It is one of the more dramatic bits of landscape close to Davos without needing a high-alpine excursion.
The gorge can be sampled from viewpoints, short walks, or the train line itself. Hikers often combine it with Wiesen, Monstein, or the old Zügen road; rail fans get stone bridges and tight curves; everyone gets a reminder that Davos is not only ski slopes and conference hotels.
