Davos lives around its mountains. In winter everything points uphill — the ski areas on both sides of the valley are interconnected by lift, bus, and train, and collectively offer more terrain than most visitors can cover in a week. In summer the same mountains are given over to hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. The town itself has two worthwhile museums and a lake for swimming.
