Verbier après-ski is famous, and at peak season the late-afternoon scene in Place Centrale is essentially one continuous open-air bar. The historic centres — Pub Mont Fort, Farinet, Le Rouge — open by mid-afternoon and run until late. Outside ski season the village is much quieter; only a handful of cafés stay open year-round, and a few close completely in April–May and October–November.
