Getting There

By air: the nearest airport is Geneva (170 km, around 2 hours by car or 2.5 hours by train + bus). Sion airport, 50 km away, has limited seasonal flights but no significant commercial traffic.

By train: a direct SBB route runs Geneva–Martigny–Le Châble, taking around 2 hours 30 minutes. From Le Châble a gondola (in winter and summer) or a postal bus (year-round) climbs to Verbier in about 10 minutes. Trains run roughly hourly.

By road: from Geneva, take the A1/A9 motorway along the Rhône Valley to the Martigny exit, then the cantonal road up the Val de Bagnes via Sembrancher and Le Châble. Snow chains are mandatory in winter on the final stretch above Le Châble. There are large paid car parks in the village.

The free Verbier ski-pass-holder bus connects the village with all the lift stations during the ski season.
