The Farinet's south-facing terrace on Place Centrale is one of the great après-ski stages in the Alps — a tiered open-air bar with live bands every afternoon from late January to early April. From around 16:00 the terrace fills with ski boots and beer; the resident DJs and bands keep it loud until early evening.
The hotel itself, with the lounge bar and Casbah nightclub inside, is open year-round and remains the most reliable late-night venue in Verbier. Outside ski season the terrace is a perfectly civilised place for a sundowner.
