Museum of Puppet Theater

The Museum of Puppet Theater traces the history of puppetry in Kharkiv and beyond, with dolls, stage materials, and archival exhibits from Ukraine, other former Soviet republics, and several European countries. It began in 1954 as a small display connected to the city theatre.

The museum occupies exhibition rooms in a 1907 former bank building near several of central Kharkiv's major architectural sights, so it fits well into a walk through the old city centre.
