Lviv's bar and cafe scene is one of the best in Ukraine — lively, cheap, and imaginative. The city is famously a coffee town, with dozens of independent cafes in the old town ranging from serious espresso bars to theatrical concept spaces. Beer bars and craft breweries have also expanded in recent years. The evening scene is concentrated around Rynok Square and the surrounding streets, and runs late.
