Bradgate House is the ruined brick mansion at the heart of Bradgate Park, north-west of Leicester. It is closely associated with Lady Jane Grey, the nine-days queen, and the ruins give the park a historical focus beyond its deer, rocks, and open hills.
The house is best visited as part of a longer walk through Bradgate Park. The combination of Tudor ruins, old trees, deer, and views makes it one of the stronger excursions from Leicester.
