Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway is a small but nicely kept attraction north of the seafront, with miniature locomotives running around a lakeside track. It is especially good with children, but adults who like railways will enjoy the care put into the engines and the station details.
This is not the Eastbourne of promenades and chalk cliffs. It is a gentle half-day add-on when the weather is kind, with picnic space, water, and a slower rhythm than the pier or Beachy Head.
