A surviving 1933 art deco lido in Stoke Park, with a heated 50-metre main pool, a separate children's pool, and one of the largest grass sunbathing areas of any lido in the country. The buildings — the ticket office, changing rooms, and café — are listed and have been carefully maintained.
Open from May to October. On a hot summer weekend the lido fills with families from across Surrey; on a cool spring weekday morning it is one of the more pleasant urban swims in the south-east.
