The closest thing Portsmouth has to a destination restaurant — small, white-walled, with around 30 covers, on Burgoyne Road off the Southsea seafront. Chef Kevin Bingham's tasting menus draw from southern British produce with modern technique.
Lunch is good value; the longer tasting menu is the way to see what the kitchen can do. The wine list is interesting and well-chosen. Reservations essential.
