Leckhampton Hill is Cheltenham's nearest big dose of Cotswold scenery, an escarpment of limestone grassland, woodland edges, and broad views over the town. It is close enough for a morning walk, but it feels like a clear step out of the spa-town grid.
Paths can be muddy and exposed, so wear proper shoes and check the weather. The reward is simple: open air, old quarry traces, wildflowers in season, and a view that explains Cheltenham's position at the foot of the hills.
