Arundells

Arundells is a medieval canonry in Salisbury's Cathedral Close, set among gardens that look toward the cathedral. The house dates back to the 13th century and is best known today as the former home of British prime minister Edward Heath.

It is a quieter stop than the cathedral or the main museums, but it adds depth to a walk through the Close: domestic history, old stone, and one of Salisbury's most graceful garden settings.
