The cathedral's own cafe, located in the former refectory adjoining the cloisters. Serves breakfast, sandwiches, soup, and cakes throughout the day. The setting is exceptional — medieval stonework, high ceilings, and windows that look out onto the cloister garth. Understandably popular with coach parties in the late morning; arrive before 10am or after 2.30pm for a calmer experience. Profits support the cathedral.
