Castle of Park is a well-preserved 16th-century tower house set in rolling Aberdeenshire countryside about 10 miles south of Banff, near the village of Cornhill. Built around 1536, it's a classic example of Scottish baronial architecture — a compact but imposing structure of harled rubble stone with a projecting stair tower.
The castle has been restored and is used as a residential arts venue, hosting courses in painting, writing, and photography. It's also licensed for weddings. The setting is quietly dramatic: farmland, open skies, and a building that looks much as it did four centuries ago.
