Eating Out

Crieff's dining scene is modest for its size, but it has one genuinely exceptional option in The Lalique Restaurant at Glenturret Distillery, which holds a Michelin star and is worth a special trip in its own right. Beyond that, the town's cafés and pubs do honest, unpretentious food in a way that suits the surroundings — nobody comes to Crieff expecting a cosmopolitan restaurant strip, and that is part of the appeal.

The town has a good bakery tradition: Perthshire is serious about its baked goods, and Crieff is no exception. For a quick lunch or coffee stop, the main street has several options that are better than they might look from the outside.
