A summer-only seafood shack on the harbour, the Lobster Shack does a short menu — half lobster with garlic butter, lobster roll, crab claws, fish and chips — and you eat it outside on benches looking at the Bass Rock. Long queues at lunchtime, but the line moves fast.
The shack is run by the family who own the Lobster Hatchery, so the lobster is local. Cash and card both work; bring a jumper if it's breezy.
