The Rocketeer

A restaurant in the original 19th-century lifeboat shed at the harbour, the Rocketeer takes its name from the rocket-launched line throwers stored in the building when it was an active rescue station. The kitchen does modern Scottish seafood — Eyemouth crab, North Sea hake, local mussels — at lunch and dinner.

The dining room is small with floor-to-ceiling windows on the harbour. Book ahead in summer; the corner tables go first.
