MacLeod's Table North, or Healabhal Mhor, is one of the two flat-topped hills that dominate the country around Dunvegan. From below they look almost artificial, as if the ridge has been sliced level, and from above they give wide views over northwest Skye and out toward the Outer Hebrides.
This is a proper rough hill walk, not a surfaced viewpoint. Expect boggy ground, vague paths, and weather that can turn the tables into cloud platforms. On a clear day, though, the climb gives one of the best land-and-sea panoramas on this side of Skye.
