Tenby Dinosaur Park is aimed squarely at families, with dinosaur models, play areas, rides, and a trail laid out in the countryside north of town. It is not the reason to visit Tenby, but it can rescue a day when children have had enough beaches, boats, and old stone walls.
Treat it as a half-day family outing rather than a serious natural-history stop. The location outside the centre means you will need a car, taxi, or seasonal transport planning. For adults without children, Tenby’s harbour, beaches, and Caldey Island are stronger uses of time.
