The Exumas have some of the best beaches in the Bahamas, which is saying something. The water colour alone — shifting between pale turquoise over sand to deep blue over reef — is worth the trip. Most beaches are uncrowded, some are deserted, and a few are genuinely hard to reach. Great Exuma and Little Exuma have the accessible ones; the cays have wilder, more remote stretches you can only reach by boat.
