Eating in the Exumas means seafood — conch, grouper, lobster, and snapper, prepared simply and eaten close to the water. George Town has a handful of restaurants, but the best meals are often at roadside shacks and beach grills scattered along Queen's Highway. Little Exuma has a couple of standout spots worth the drive south. Expect island pace: kitchens are small, service is relaxed, and calling ahead is often wise.
