Most of Freeport's best restaurants are concentrated around Port Lucaya, the marina complex south of the city centre. Zorbas at Port Lucaya is a local institution — an unpretentious Greek-Bahamian place popular with locals from breakfast through dinner, with good gyros, moussaka, fresh salads, and baklava. Most seafood places in Freeport serve excellent fresh-caught fish; look for conch fritters, cracked conch, and grilled grouper as the local specialities.
