The viewpoint on Anarchist Mountain sits above Highway 3 east of Osoyoos, where the road climbs sharply from the valley floor toward the US border. The ascent gains hundreds of metres in a short distance, and the pullout gives a wide look back over Osoyoos, the lake, and the dry Okanagan landscape.
It is a quick stop rather than a full outing, but it is one of the easiest ways to understand the valley's shape. Late afternoon light is especially good across the lake and vineyards.
