A natural hot springs resort on the south shore of Lakelse Lake, twenty minutes south of Terrace on Highway 37. The springs feed a series of outdoor pools and waterslides built into the hillside, with the hottest pool sitting around 38°C.
The resort has had a complicated recent history — long closures, reopenings under new owners — so check current status before driving out. When operating, it is a genuinely lovely spot, particularly on a cold clear winter day when the cedars are heavy with snow and you can soak outside in the steam.
