Adamson Estate

The Adamson Estate is a Tudor revival country house from 1920, built for Agar Adamson and his wife Mabel Cawthra and now owned by the Credit Valley Conservation Authority. The house sits in 11 hectares of mature parkland on the lakefront between Port Credit and Lakeview.

The interior is used as a music school and is not always open, but the grounds are public — a leafy patch of lakeshore with the original carriage house and walled gardens. It is a 20-minute walk east along the Waterfront Trail from the centre of Port Credit.
