Riverwood Park is a surprisingly green pocket of Mississauga, following the Credit River through woodland, meadows, and garden areas. It is a good choice when you want something more local and restorative than the city’s malls and arterial roads.
The appeal is walking rather than spectacle: short trails, seasonal flowers, birdlife, and river views. It is strongest for travellers already staying in Mississauga or exploring the Credit River valley, not as a major detour from Toronto.
