Jack Darling is one of the bigger lakefront parks on Mississauga's south coast, west of Port Credit. It has a long pebble and sand beach with a clear view east to the city of Toronto, a fenced off-leash dog park (one of the largest in the GTA), tennis courts, a splash pad, and a connection to the Waterfront Trail.
It's a popular weekend spot for families — busy but never unpleasantly so — and the only place in the city you can swim in Lake Ontario at a posted, lifeguarded beach.
