Rattray Marsh Conservation Area protects one of Mississauga's best remaining lakeshore wetlands. Boardwalks and paths move through marsh, woodland, and shoreline habitat, giving the city a quieter natural edge than its malls and arterial roads suggest.
It is an easy, rewarding walk rather than a rugged hike. Birdwatchers should bring binoculars, but casual visitors will still enjoy the mix of lake air, reeds, and shaded paths. For Mississauga, it is one of the strongest nature stops.
