A multi-level indoor mall that functions as Chinatown's wet-weather heart: herbal-medicine and tea shops, gift and houseware stalls, a supermarket, and a basement food court where you can assemble a cheap meal from competing Cantonese, Vietnamese and Malaysian counters.
It is dated and fluorescent-lit, which is much of the charm — this is everyday Chinatown rather than a tourist attraction. Good for a rainy afternoon, a bowl of noodles, and the kind of browsing that turns up bubble tea, mooncakes and rice cookers in equal measure.
