One of Nuuk's longest-established restaurants, the Hereford Beefstouw offers a menu built around prime beef and local Arctic ingredients in a comfortable dining room. The musk ox and reindeer dishes are well handled and represent a good introduction to Greenlandic game; the Arctic char preparation is consistently good. Prices are high but the quality is reliable.
Located in the centre of Nuuk, a few minutes' walk from the Katuaq. Reservations recommended in summer and for weekend dinners. The wine list is limited but decent for a remote Arctic capital.
