Things to Do

Almost everything worth seeing in Dolores Hidalgo is within a few blocks of the central Jardín. The Parroquia where Father Hidalgo gave the Grito faces the square; his house, now a museum, is two blocks away; and the José Alfredo Jiménez Museum is a short walk further. Beyond that the ceramic workshops on the edge of town and the ice cream stands around the plaza are the things people return for. Half a day on foot covers it comfortably.
